Many nations struggle to keep children in school.  India is one among them. Why do children drop out before they finish school?  One key reason is because they experience failure – especially failure to read and write.   Our  Programmes for Assisted Learning (PAL) addresses this issue by developing interventions that can develop children's skills for language and literacy learning.  Our PAL intervention has been implemented in Kannada (PAL-K) and in English (PAL-E).  This page provides information about PAL-K.
